This was taken on the way back from my last trip to Painted Hills in Central OR. Following a narrow highway up out of Spray, OR, I was greeted by light rain and dense fog as I climbed over a mountain pass. At the top, I was greeted by yep, you guessed it, more rain and fog. This scene caught my eye as I began my decent into Heppner.
You know how you come upon that one scene where, like magic, things just come together? Well, this was it for me. One of my best moments of the trip, although I had to do a bit of post processing (dodging/burning) to bring this one to the finish line. All the creativity, without the harsh darkroom chemicals! Let me know what you think, as I processed two previous versions before settling on this one. Viewing this one Large really captures the mood of the scene.
Enjoy!

Circa 1972. She was another friend in German language class. I recall that I knew her brother first from junior high school, but didn’t realize that they were siblings until high school.
This is my first attempt to high speed photography. I ain't really satisfied of the results but I hope that the next will be better .

Traditional Greek dancing by Delta. I liked how the foreground girl instinctively ducked as he got near!
There are inserts for the tea canisters, but my set only came with 2. It came with an extra insert for the tea cups, so I guess someone at the factory screwed up.
i went apartment-hunting with my mom and my lil sister the whole day. i was going to wear jeans and a plain tee, but changed my mind at the last minute. there's something oddly satisfying about dressing *slightly* inappropriately and getting curious stares along the way.
but that's just me.

Just ran into this today. And talk about screwin' the pooch!
Nothing but non-stop physical gags that where done better in any other anime that tried it. It's a complete anime stereotype!
Like there just making fun of one or the other as a whole? I mean Frankie and Lagoona really got screwed in this adaptaion.
You really have to see this hideous trainwreck.
Now don't get me wrong. I don't think that the original MH stuff is great entertainment either. With it's constant forced "outsider" and "I want to be one of the cool kids." horse shit!
But at least I can watch them!
Anyway, hope the anime shorts pick up and stay away from fan service. Also, I really cant wait to see the cat-girls and Howleen show up!
