This was taken on the way back from my last trip to Painted Hills in Central OR. Following a narrow highway up out of Spray, OR, I was greeted by light rain and dense fog as I climbed over a mountain pass. At the top, I was greeted by yep, you guessed it, more rain and fog. This scene caught my eye as I began my decent into Heppner.
You know how you come upon that one scene where, like magic, things just come together? Well, this was it for me. One of my best moments of the trip, although I had to do a bit of post processing (dodging/burning) to bring this one to the finish line. All the creativity, without the harsh darkroom chemicals! Let me know what you think, as I processed two previous versions before settling on this one. Viewing this one Large really captures the mood of the scene.

This is the third and final photo from that full-moon photo shoot.
This was taken between midnight and 1 am. I am still not pleased with the blown out moon, but it is what it is.
This photo has undergone a major face lift in Lightroom and also had a lens flare removed in Photo Shop Elements 9.
Again Flickr seems to really get a kick out of darkening my photos! =^P

İ was at mountains of Trabzon for walking and visiting my home and relatives. İ saw great nature, weather and sightseeing that day. That region of Black Sea has a lot of scene like this. So that i took this pic.
This is my first attempt to high speed photography. I ain't really satisfied of the results but I hope that the next will be better .

As with many others this retains full Bowers livery which isn't all that much of a bad thing given how awful Centrebus livery is. It also has a stupid scrolling destination blind which had taken a momentary break from scrolling anything of worth.

There are inserts for the tea canisters, but my set only came with 2. It came with an extra insert for the tea cups, so I guess someone at the factory screwed up.
i went apartment-hunting with my mom and my lil sister the whole day. i was going to wear jeans and a plain tee, but changed my mind at the last minute. there's something oddly satisfying about dressing *slightly* inappropriately and getting curious stares along the way.

Taken from the High Line in New York City's Chelsea District. The High Line was an elevated train track built in the 1930's to serve the transportation needs of the city's meatpacking industry. It was restored over the past decade as a nearly two mile promenade. This is an example of the art that is displayed along the High Line.

The great thing about the beach is that it presents an entirely different universe from season to season, from day to day, from hour to hour, from second to second, with the ever changing wind, tides, clouds, and sun. A split second with tumbling surf and a sinking sun can make a vast different, resulting in entirely different photographs.

High above the Dunglass Burn we see a southbound 225 Unit running in place of an HST. With problems at Haymarket all morning, LNER ran a 1Z13 using the path of 1E13 Inverness - London Kings Cross service. An unidentified Driving Van Trailer is seen crossing Dunglass Viaduct with 1Z13, 1130 Edinburgh Waverley - Kings Cross LNER service on the 2nd November 2018 at 1153.
The HST from Inverness also encountered problems on the Highland Main Line due to a broken rail.
