Burbage from Higger Tor

On a foggy but beautiful day, starting from Hathersage train station walking a loop through Hathersage village, following to the east of Hood Brook, past Bronte Cottage, up to and along Stanage Edge, down to the Burbage, Fiddler's Elbow and Higger Tor, across to Callow and then back into Hathersage.

We eventually arrived at Higger Tor and clambered up onto some rocks for a bite to eat.

Glad to be back at the truck after a short walk down the road.

The cloud was so low in the valley that the freezing fog covered everything like snow - it was magical.

My third & final day touring The Peak; this time focusing on The Dark PeaK area north of Hathersage & the Edale Valley
