Used my Hitech 0.9 HD for the top and my Kood GG2 soft for the bottom along with my Kood ND4, I used exposure compensation to lengthen the exposure time. Got to admit I did add some of the rocks to this scene.

As i walked across the moor to get my shots of Roseberry Topping from Gribdale Gate I was blinded by the sinking sun.I noticed when I was in the shade of a small tree how the light brought out the colours of the moor and decided to stop and see if I could capture this.I have spent much more time processing this shot than I would normally do,because I've been finding it difficult to replicate what i saw.I may revisit this at some point and have another go,but for now ...

Lower Manhattan viewed from Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey. Five-exposure panorama processed in Lightroom, Photoshop. BW conversion in Silver Efex Pro. Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G. Long exposures (4 min. 22 sec.) using Formatt Hitech FC77ND4.8 neutral density filter (16 stops of light reduction).
I learned a few things from this, first and foremost, that the computer I use needs more memory and processing power. Second, that panoramas, especially ones with manually timed exposures, can be a pain to process. Third, to try to avoid LE panos of distant subjects on hazy days. On the other hand, this seems a great location for the kind of thing I was attempting, and I may try it again. Some day...

Another snap from my holiday to the Isles of Scilly
This is the view from Porth Mellin Carn, Tresco, across the water to the islands of Northwethel, St Helen’s and Round Island. There are a few houses to the immediate left of me – not a bad view to have out of your front window!
Equipment:Nikon D7000, Nikkor 10-24mm @ 24mm. ISO 100, F11, 156 sec, Hitech 10-stop ND filter, Manfrotto BeFree tripod
Post-prodution: Separate masked curve layers for: colour correction (my Hitech 10-stop filter leaves a strong colour cast); darkening of the sea & sky; lightening of the islands. ND grad effect added.

Foto tomada ayer en La Juncosa, un lugar muy significativo para mi. El verde despunta con fuerza en las rocas que quedan al descubierto con la bajamar, mientras algunos barcos esperan su turno para entrar al puerto de Bilbao.

Got a chance to duck away from the family and get a couple of outings at Dead Horse Gap down at Thredbo. Its such a cool location during the snow time with all the rocks wearing their own white hats.....brililant!

One night past 2am, I encounter this scene. Arctic mist and a melancholic sky amplify the surreal nature of this ice kingdom. An angel's wing is washed ashore far from the mythical realm of Valhalla, a pantheon for the brave. Perhaps it is the wing of a fallen Valkyrie, who never returned with her chosen warrior.

My first post from an awesome trip down to Tassie with a great group of guys. Organised by the Pano Man himself - Mr Poulton, we made our way to Coles Bay on the East Coast of Tasmania. The morning showed signs on amazement, but unfortunately, it didn't quite occur.
