Saved this poor fella. Such a great little feeling watching them come back to life and take off. Beautiful fuzzy little things.
I decided it was time to look through my wardrobe and sort out some clothes. I had great help from my best friend and my cat Fuller.
you can get a better idea of the floor colors in this picture. does the tree fabric clash too much? the room is very small, so i'm trying not to go crazy. thanks for any thoughts!

Tapirs look something like pigs with trunks, but they are actually related to horses and rhinoceroses. This eclectic lineage is an ancient one—and so is the tapir itself. Scientists believe that these animals have changed little over tens of millions of years.
Tapirs have a short prehensile (gripping) trunk, which is really an extended nose and upper lip. They use this trunk to grab branches and clean them of leaves or to help pluck tasty fruit. Tapirs feed each morning and evening. During these hours they follow tunnel-like paths, worn through the heavy brush by many a tapir footstep, to reach water holes and lush feeding grounds. As they roam and defecate they deposit the seeds they have consumed and promote future plant growth.
Though they appear densely built, tapirs are at home in the water and often submerge to cool off. They are excellent swimmers and can even dive to feed on aquatic plants. They also wallow in mud, perhaps to remove pesky ticks from their thick hides.
New World tapirs generally live in the forests and grasslands of Central and South America. A notable exception is the mountain (or woolly), tapir, which lives high in the Andes Mountains. Woolly tapirs, named for their warm and protective coat, are the smallest of all tapirs.
The world's biggest tapir is found in the Old World—Southeast Asia. The black-and-white Malay tapir can grow to 800 pounds (363 kilograms). It inhabits the forests and swamps of Malaysia and Sumatra.
All four tapir species are endangered or threatened, largely due to hunting and habitat loss.

Help! Rescue Me! - Young Sailors In Distress [Greystones Harbour - Ireland]
While in Greystones I could hear someone calling for help and as I had difficulty determining where the calls were coming from and as no one else appeared to have noticed I had almost decided that it was my imagination and then I noticed a number of boats converging on a small dingy.
You just don't know how odd it is to walk up to somebody in a museum and ask you to help out with this kind of thing...i had no friends to ask to go, so these kids were nice enough to help out, and they are fans of the movie too.
Converted to B&W because like most museums they don't allow flash photography and the grain did not look good in color.

Big Train Mascot Homer and Wyngate Elementary students take to the streets to raise awareness and Help the Homeless.
My front and back covers have been glued to my boards, I've made a card template for where the holes need to be and I bought 6 colours of green organza ribbon to help me decide on the right one. As I was putting the pages in order I found this window with a hint of the stamped text just showing through. I wish I could show you all the nice little details like this that have occurred. Now to wax my thread and start the stitching - this is the scary part!

I was out on the streets of Delhi when I saw this unfortunate man in the middle of a very busy shopping area. There is almost a dignity to his stillness. It is sad and humbling the way he is simply asking for help without any sense of entitlement.
