View allAll Photos Tagged Hello,

Saw this caterpillar on the wooden fence in my garden.Placed it on my picknicktable, where it sat motionless, and so i was able to take a serie of photos.

Not perfectly natural i admit, but i hope i get away with it.

Taken with the Canon 100 mm macro 2.8 IS L,which i bought last week at Marktplaats (owned by E-bay),where i mostly buy my secondhand photogear.Paid 625 euro's for it.

She was looking down from her place which is on the wardrobe when I was lying on the floor with the camera. I wanted to take her photos while she was on the floor, but she jumped on her premises. She wanted me to pet her at her favorite place.

Happy Furry Friday!

Hola amigos!!!!

Grulla coronada.

Seal lions on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

coming back from the moon , I had something to eat , then left again through the wormhole which took me to Mars, the red sand and mountains of Mars are very spectacular and impressive.

Oeps back to earth where you can find the same spectacular landscapes in Iceland, again, near Myvatn ,just hit the road nr 1, when leaving Reykjahlid, east first turnoff to the left once your down the hill, then follow the tourists to the parking

Mom's flickr friends!

A fence was all that stood between me and his (algae-stained) incisors!

"Hello little one. You're safe and sound and growing big fast. Where is your brother?"

It had been three weeks since.....He slowly tried to move around the area more by himself and was still wobbly. I go to this park sometimes, same spot to leave some peanuts, walnuts for the squirrels. Last time I saw him he was a newborn with his grey-coated sibling. They were all curled up with only the fur exposed laying on the grass several inches apart under a tree. At a glance I thought they were some kind of old rags. In the area on that day there were some garbage scattered around. Had the grass was clear I would have noticed them better. As I passed by I did notice the adult squirrel peeking in and out behind the tree trunk, seemed eager and anxious. I thought she was eager for some peanuts so I threw a walnut for her first. Her eyes followed the walnut rolling in the grass, looked at it and paused for a while. I wondered...they love walnuts and why didn't she come down to get it. She could be scared as I was nearby. As I took several steps toward the usual spot, she swiftly climbed down, I turned around and saw she picked up her baby and quickly ran up the tree and then swiftly came down for the second one. I stood still and watched. Once she had carried her babies safely to the nest she then returned for the walnut. A mother's love :))

My new friend, this Ermine came back to say hello when I was checking a hill in the same area for the White-Tailed Eagles.

Standing up on her back feets with the two raised like this ;)

I look forward to go back here and see her in the brown summer fur !

Hello from the other side / I must have called a thousand times

Here are some more photos from our Thanksgiving raccoon encounter. We came across this his young male or female on a Thanksgiving day walk, he or she was playing a few feet away from us for about a half an hour. Rolling on his or her back, bouncing all over, playing with sticks and branches. Never approached us but looked our way several times. What happened after the half hour you ask? He curled up in a pile of leaves and went to sleep, as if right out of a Disney movie! I've never seen anything like it! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving surprise. I hope he stays out of trouble!

Hello October, month of rain and darkness, season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, time of my birthday, days of coats and boots, and month of Samhain and days of the dead, when the veil that separates our world from the Otherworld is at its thinnest.

HFF and a good start into the weekend, everyone.

Did you think I forgot about the Orange-A-Lish Weekend in Pinkalicious?.. ;)

"Hello Little Rock, Memphis, Jackson, New Orleans, Birmingham, Miami, and many places in between! #SpaceIsCloserThanYouThink" So ran the greeting from @Astro_Sabot, otherwise known as Mark Vande Hei, with this image taken from aboard the International Space Station, orbiting 250 miles above the planet we call home.

Vande Hei and his crewmates on the station are not only conducting cutting-edge research aboard the orbital laboratory; their images of Earth help monitor conditions on Earth, and also showcase its beauty.
