Late in the morning when I open up my front door then I find a young friend was waiting to greet me. He was 3-4 years old, a son of construction workers working for my nighbor house. I place newspaper I already read on the fence for others to read further. He came to talk with me and tried to fight with strong sun light facing on his face. I then see something asking him to wait. I brought camera to take his shot. I smiled at that time and still smile each and every time I see this photo.
He was a pirate but not in Caribbian, just in Chao Phraya River of thailand. He was great pirate hunting for heart and love. Hope someday he could turn his heart up.
.. and the heart shadow was from the heart shape leave of the plant in my garden...... : D

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary this week!!! These two pictures are part of the card I made for him. I know they are incredibly cliche...but thats what we are. We are a fairytale...something so fanastic and wonderful! I couldn't ask for anyone greater in my life! This picture is super special because we met our senior year in highschool all because I was in "A Midsummer's Night Dream". It was a complete fluke that we met but here we are 7 years later...happier than we have ever been. Again, it sounds so cheesy but its incredibly true! So this is to by Goosey, Robby! Lucky 7!!!
It wasn't very sunny today so I had to create my own shadows with a flashlight and some construction paper. You know I'd cut out a heart, right?

I've done this before with a ring and wondered if it would work with the paperweight. I like how it has turned out.
I used a texture by pareeerica on the background only, at 35% opacity.
Attention Agents:
Headquarters has once again called us into action. The scenarios we must face in our work are limitless. We must forever be on our guard, calling into play our hard-earned skills and training to sustain us in every situation. Being prepared for any eventuality requires infinite wisdom.
Therefore, your mission this week is INFINITE, should you choose to accept it.
Wedding bands should signify infinite love. I like how the bands shaped a heart shadow. The blue tone is from the manual setting and using the wrong light setting for proper exposure, but I liked the colors and selected this image as my INFINITE assignment.
Hope you like it as well.

My first attempt at the "book, ring, heart shot". I've always admired others' creations. I'm not thrilled with this version-- had many other ideas, but ran out of time. So I think this will be my card for my husband for Valentine's Day. And it's my wish for all of you to celebrate love in your life, in whatever way it reaches you.
Took this outside, with sunlight, as my Canon Powershot does not take great in-door photos. But had thoughts of playing around with light through red tissue paper, red flowers on the page, etc. This is my engagement ring, with a ruby. I love it. I also had hoped to find a book of poetry, but grabbed Montaigne essays instead. The poetry books did not open well. Then the text seemed too distracting-- so I tried it upside down- still distracting, so finally just blurred the text in photoshop. I only had 10 minutes at lunch to try this shot, but it was a fun experiment.
Other versions of my card attempts below.

The Beating In My Heart.
By tomorrow today will be yesterday,
And yesterday will be forgotten.
I see you lingering in the shadows,
I feel you there watching.
So take the key and lock me up,
Because the beating in my heart,
Will one day stop.
By Gillian Simpson.
It may appear that I have an obsession with things shaped like hearts. I suppose this makes me a typical girl! This quote is used in one of my favorite movies A Walk to Remember. If you have never seen it, and are in the mood for a romance, it is a must watch!

maybe it's kinda boring now that so many people has done it before,
but I'm just curious if I could do the thing too.
wonder how I could make this more 'me'
It's amazing what you can get up when you are bored. This pointless bit of moulding just begged to be photographed and shared with the whole world lol.

Cliche heart shadow. Except my ring is beautiful because it's from my aunt and it has stars and suns on it; and, it's on a piece of real literature. Not ridiculous Twilight or anything like that. I'm reading Their Eyes Were Watching God and I can honestly say it's the best book I've read during high school. I even like it more than I like The Grapes of Wrath, and that's pretty tough to beat.
Today, Monday the 9th August 2010 we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary.
We married on a Monday at 12:30pm too!
Mr Fisher, if you're reading this I love you very very much.
The ring is Chris' spinner ring, which he wears every day to save his wedding band. Plus work won't let him wear his wedding band as it has a diamond in it. The book is one of my favourites, as the two leading characters have a very passionate marriage, which sees them through many tough times ... a bit like ours.
L'amore e' una scommessa...
"Io vendo scommesse sul futuro
Qualcuna vince molto
