This is a poster I had up at work for a while after starting on Isosorbide Mononitrate.

After my 3rd angiogram in July 2017, I was put on Isosorbide Mononitrate to help with some angina pains I had been experiencing under exertion while exercising with FFIT and boy what a difference that made. Suddenly I could do short jogs and this in turn led to my first parkrun on 21st Oct 2017 and then constantly improving my finishing times - the rest is history!

Isosorbide Mononitrate works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.

Photo was taken at Wycombe Rye parkrun in March 2018 by a Bucks Free Press photographer.
