The Right Care Alliance and allies rallied and marched to the Eli Lilly Innovation Center in Cambridge to deliver “blood money” as a protest to the high cost the insulin. People with diabetes are rationing their overpriced insulin and some are dying because of it. Parents and family members spoke about losing loved ones because they couldn’t afford to buy insulin. They are calling for an end to the insulin-rationing crisis and for insulin makers to be held accountable for their role in creating this crisis.
