The Széchenyi Medicinal Bath in Budapest is the largest medicinal bath in Europe. Its water is supplied by two thermal springs, their temperature is 74 °C (165 °F) and 77 °C (171 °F), respectively.
Components of the thermal water include sulphate, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate and a significant amount of fluoride acid and metaboric acid. It's a shame the last iteration of the Pontiac GTO didn't catch on.
My theory is that part of the appeal of the original GTO was that it was just a workaday Pontiac Tempest on steroids, not a purpose-built import, as in this last iteration.
I'd still take one.
Took the afternoon off from work today and when I got home, I had to go to the managers office of the complex I live in to deal with my lease renewal. Due to the renovations happening, I asked about the replacement of my patio doors and windows. I was told they werent sure when that would be done. I then asked how long it would take to do that.........a day or 2? The manager looked at me kind of funny and said it would take much longer than that. She went on to say that when they are ready to do that, I will be given a 60 day notice and I can either let them "cancel" my lease and I can move, or I can let them relocate me within the complex.
You have got to be kidding me!!
Oh no.........uh uh...........you can bet your sweet patootie............she was not kidding.
And then, after they relocate me and rip out the patio doors and windows and replace them with new ones, I will be able to move back in.
I just moved into this place last May. And now, I may have to move out and back in again?
So after all that "news", I came back up to my place and sat on my couch, put my feet up and just sat there. Looked around and pondered over this situation. My camera was sitting next to me so I picked it up and for the heck of it, snapped this shot - grungy hiking boots and all...lol.
That curio cabinet will have to be moved two times? I had that delivered after I moved in here and I have always dreaded the thought of it being moved again the next time I move. (wow, I just said "moved" a lot in that last scentence....lol). Anyway, I didnt think it would happen this soon. My pictures will have to be packed up and moved TWO more times? Pots and pans, clothes, 400 cd's, 300 dvd's, plants, dishes, my toothbrush. UGH! Im not liking these thoughts right now.
Maybe I should just rent a storage locker, throw all my belongings in there, and live in my car. Its new. It has that new car smell. Electric windows. Sunroof. I could be quite comfy in there. I could get a membership at the healthclub at my office, shower there in the morning before work. Go to the local drive thru for meals. McDonalds has a mean breakfast sandwich. Starbucks has my chai latte. Can you have a pizza delivered to a "car"?
Oh sure. That's rational thinkin' for ya.
Not.
*sigh*
What to do next?
I got up off the couch, grabbed my other camera, and went for a drive in the new car. Didnt get any shots, after all that, but it was nice to just forget about this for now. I'll worry about this at a later date. For now...........its weekend time :-)
And we have 3-8 inches of snow coming in, starting tomorrow night.
I just shake my head.
Does anyone have a room for rent??
Oh wait..............Im not worrying about this anymore...................
