A beautiful hazy Autumn morning here today.

Smoke from Quebec forest fires are the cause of this haze.

The good old days...

A quick stop by Dorket Head this morning to take advantage of the beautiful soft hazy light over the fields of Rapeseed.

One cold morning on my way to work there were some subtle layers of haze/ mist. At sunrise these layers were illuminated.

Yesterday when I took this there were no clouds just haze hanging close to the horizon. When the sun dropped below the horizon this is the result.

Just east of Nanaimo, B.C. by ferry. Surprised by the haze last Thanksgiving, but imagine it's worse this summer with the 100s of wildfires burning throughout British Columbia. In any case,the colour of the roofs & tanks pop against the blues of ocean and forests.
