Late evening with a haze over the mountains and a glimpse of 3 tall Condo Towers high up in the hills and views of other homes lower down the hillside.

“Lavender Haze” is an actual term which refers to the “ state of being in love.” Taylor Swift has a song titled Lavender Haze as well. She was quoted as saying “….theoretically, when you're in the 'Lavender Haze' you'll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud.” So this little dried flower arrangement sitting on the table of our favourite coffee shop seems very appropriate for the feeling I had when I saw it during one of our morning coffee treats downtown. I was happy to be with hubby sharing simple traditions we have started since retirement. The Lavender also evoked happy memories of summer and I felt a warm glow thinking of that during the dark grey days we are having lately.
