(Parabuteo Unicinctus) is an American Native, very common in the deserts of the southwest, into Mexico, then right through the drier areas of South America to Chile. It's a very common Falconry Bird, often the first one people 'practice' with as they can be very tame and not particularly agressive.
The first two seasons of the Hawkeye Express featured borrowed equipment from the Ski-Train based in Denver, CO consisting of 2 F40PH's and 11 cars. The Hawkeye Express is making another run to Kinnick Stadium, passing over Clear Creek in Coralville, IA - the most scenic part of the 3 mile run. placing the quiver on Hawkeye has two options. one is by using a plastic hook that clips on the quiver and hooks on a thin strap on his back; or by using a strap which you wrap around the quiver and wrap around Hawkeye's chest and has a button/clip on the other side to hold position. i went for the strap configuration thinking its more secured that the plastic hook.
