Cedar Rapids and Iowa City GP9 100 was passing the old capital (behind the trees) and entered town with a long freight from Cedar Rapids.
Rolling through the campus of the University of Iowa, the Crandic freight was a great subject to chase in the summer months with the vintage EMDs providing the power.
Northern Hawk Owl, one of the least studied birds in North America due to its scarcity even in its normal range in remote boreal forests. Extremely rare sighting in Southern Ontario!

Loki is essentially just the Mighty Micros Loki with normal legs. a Damien Wayne cape and a Batgirl cape.
Hawkeye: Batgirl mask, Riddler head, Beast Boy torso, Fairy Batman legs.
I was originally gonna post this first but I figured that'd be spoiler-y.
Unpopular opinion: Batwoman's actions were justified. Fight!

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after a crazy couple of weeks (work deadlines, etc).
I felt like trying something different so I did this portrait of Hawkeye. My inspiration was the scene in the trailer where Hawkeye is outside and the sun is directly behind him. The Hawkeye minifigure doesn't come with a quiver, so I had to borrow one from another minifig :-)

Clint Barton was orphaned at an early age when his parents died in a car accident and was sent to a children's home with his brother Bernard. He and his brother ran away to join the Carson Carnival of Traveling Wonders, and the pair worked as roustabouts. While a member of the circus, Hawkeye was trained by the original Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne) and Trickshot. Clint's life, however, would forever be changed after he stumbled onto the Swordsman counting the money he had just robbed from the carnival. The Swordsman offered Clint to become his partner in crime, but Clint rejected his mentor, sparking a fight that ended when the Swordsman left him for dead after he fell from the high wire. Barney, too, abandoned him, in disbelief that Clint passed up such an opportunity. Trickshot stepped up his role as Clint's mentor, later asking him to join him in raiding a criminal named Marko. However, Clint severely injured one of Marko's guards and discovered him to be his brother, Barney. Repelled by the consequences of his actions (and his mentor's role in prompting them), he abandoned Trickshot and parted on bad terms.

This is my Panasonic G9 Not exactly new now but its the newest camera I have!
The other camera is a Kodak Hawkeye Ace from about 1938? its a 127 roll film camera with a shutter release on the front that just goes across from one side to the other each time you take a shot, the View Finder just the piece of wire you pull out from the side!
I am not sure where this camera came from from one of our parents I expect!

This one was very hard because this was a pic of the actor, not the character. I had to change the clothes to Hawkeye’s clothes, add a quiver, add the thingy (whatever you call it) to his hand, get rid of some facial hair, and give him a slight haircut. 😂 I had so much fun and I did this as a gift for a friend. I hope you like it!
A pair of Burlington Northern EMD SD70MACs had a coal load splitting a pair of old CB&Q searchlight signals on an April morning in 1996.
BNSF became official at the end of 1996 but many months prior to that nightmare becoming reality, Burlington Northern was going about its business in style.

Made between 1969 and 1975, this extremely popular camera used 126 film cartridges and the flash cube. I received this camera as a gift in junior high and is part of my camera collection.
Distant Sparrowhawk in full sunlight, this male spending a lot of time preening, after looking around, continued preening.
Took too many photos ! This my favourite.
