Taken with Brownie Hawkeye Flash, Kodak Portra ISO 160 (respooled onto 620 spool), Kodak close up lens attachment. I modified the camera for electronic flash sync, this is an example (Vivitar Auto 252 flash, ISO 200 and F11 range). Not sure if dark corners are indicative of the camera or the flash coverage.
I'M BACK! (Again haha). The truth is I never stopped taking photos but I didn't pay my flickr account until now. I wasn't able to upload anything since January 2012 haha. Anyway, I'm glad to be able to share some of my work again. I hope you like it. I'm looking forward to see more awesome shots of the wonderful people here at Flickr. I wish you all have a great 2013!
By the way, I was able to go to the San Diego Comic-Con 2012, so I will be uploading some pictures of my experience there if you are interested.

The much loved Brownie Hawkeye cameras have a moulded bakelite body and use a brilliant viewfinder. May 1949-Nov 1951: This is the Brownie Hawkeye non-synchronised non-flash model. Sept 1950-July 1961: This is the Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model which is capable of accepting a wide range of Kodak pin and screw flash attachments. This same camera was also manufactured in France as Brownie Flash Camera.
Fun Facts:
The Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model Camera is recognized as one of the most popular Brownie cameras made. It is easy to use and is still extremely popular with film photographers because it's cheap to buy, it comes apart easily for lens and viewfinder cleaning, and most will accept 120 film without respooling it onto 620 spools making it even easier to shoot with. The big square negatives it produces are large enough for contact prints or can be enlarged for spectacular sharp prints. The bulb setting for time exposures rounds off this great camera.
This beautiful camera was designed by Arthur H. Crapsey, the designer of many other popular Kodak cameras.
There was a display of birds of prey in Clumber Park but I only had the 5DII with the 16-35 lens attached so this is a monster-crop!
I went home for Thanksgiving and my grandma gave me her old camera. It's a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash. I guess she lost the flash part, but that's ok, I don't even know if I can still get the bulbs for it.
She also had this roll of film that expired in 1978! I might try to use it anyway just to see what happens.. or maybe i'll just keep it wrapped up as a keepsake. I'm going to clean the camera up and make it look nicer before I put it to use, and clean the viewfinder and lens. It's a little dirty at the moment.

I was driving and noticed this guy at the top of a tree... I had to stretch the lens to the maximum and was able to capture it....Not the shot I would have preferred but I was happy to get this...
