At the Heide-Park Resort Soltau in North Germany they got a 35 meters tall replica of Miss Liberty. It was inaugurated on July 4 in 1986 on the 100th anniversary of its original in Manhattan.
I tried all week to take a self portrait and failed. I needed a friend to help me out. This is my nephews daughter she makes every one smile.

The sign at a county park in Sarasota, Florida caught my attention.
It's message struck me as quite dissonant.
"Nobody ever said photography is a clean hobby." That was just one of my thoughts as I was rolling around on the cool, wet ground this morning, chasing the beauty of these Daffodils in the early light. I had great fun, but will leave it to all of you to determine if the sacrifice was worth it. Enjoy!

For me, Superman has always held a visceral place in my heart that reminds me of the potential a human has and the journey one takes to find their place in this world. I grok that everyone has good in them, but being good is the hardest thing a person can do...so try, and try even harder.
