Not everyone really appreciates the Halloween season, but a few neighborhoods here in Seattle really cater to the holiday. It took me a bit to find the shot I was looking for but it was worth the search. Pretty impressed with the level of dedication some folks have to Halloween, I will need to go back when I have a bit more time and get some more shots of a different nature! But for now.......HFF! I hope everyone has a great and safe Halloween and a wonderful weekend to boot!
Games are more and more immersive. One can think of the Wii or the Kinect where the whole body is involved in the game. Soon, they will give you a ball, a field and some friends and you'll have a game where the immersion is extreme... :-)
Next week, UBISOFT will be launching a new game where you'll have to play riffs on a real guitar. The game is called Rocksmith and should be a new milestone in the music video game industry. I'm not really a gamer but I like to play real guitar... I will probably give it a try...

I used 78 photos from a short timelapse to make this. That's the moon just creeping into frame on the left. I can't wait to show you the sunset timelapse from this day, but it;s going to take a little while, as I haven't started working on the video, or the music for that matter. I have been pumpin' out the timelapses like a champ though. haha

There are many young people or students who are working at PNE for summer jobs.
I think this is good vocational training. Summer jobs would be good preparation for real career work in future.
They will learn taking responsibilities. They will learn problem solving. They will learn dealing with difficult people perhaps. And all these could be an important life experience.

I am not particularly good at any kind of subject in photography.
But if I pick the weakest one, it would be portrait. I very rarely shoot portrait partly because of the lack of opportunities and also I am too shy to ask permission of strangers.
This is a candid taken at the Canada Day parade at the Salmon Festival held in Steveston Richmond.
There are too many colors competing each other in the frame. So I converted it to B&W.
The one thing I personally like in the scene is the contrast between the girl and the woman (small vs big, young vs adult etc).
