Something fun today. because...
I've fallen in love.
With something very different.
Ok.. It was my work experience.
I was a chef for a week.
As it turns out, being a chef is a love of mine as well.
It's been right under my nose the whole time, but I've never actually considered it before I started work experience this week. My dad was a chef, not like a proper fine dining chef or anything, but he owned heaps of restraunts, and so I bassically grew up in the kitchen. I think I cut my first porter house when I was like nine.
I discovered that I have the same passion for being a chef that I do for photography.
Isn't life funny like that sometimes? Change a choice you made in the slightest possible way, and you're stuffed, it didn't happen, you would've missed out.
*sigh*
I love life.
It is wonderful.

Funny. funny. funny.
Fine dining. Never could afford it myself, but from now on, hopefully I'll be in the kitchen learning everything there is to know about it (Got offered a job!!). One day, hopefully I'll be an executive chef myself, doing what I love most.
I hope you find something you love to do.
I have no idea how I got so lucky, I've found two thigs I love doing already!!

Home of the Hurricane Drink in the French Quarter in New Orleans.
At the end of prohibition in 1933, Pat O'Brien converted his speakeasy to a legitimate drinking establishment in the 600 block of St. Peter Street...A few years later Pat realized that he had outgrown his little space. He and his friend Charlie Cantrell decided to become partners and buy the building at 718 St. Peter Street, the building that is now home to the world famous bar. The structures were originally built circa 1791.

I like these two people sharing a sweet goodbye before the race began. It's fun to isolate people in a crowd, or to pick out people creating a moment within a big noisy crowd.
A little stressed about getting a shot for the day, and there was my "monkey nut" drink glass holder from Walt Disney's adventurer's club reminding me to "have fun". So I set him up in front of my vintage Disney map and took his picture to remind us all to "have fun"! Hope everyone had a fun day :)

On October 21, we are participated in The 7th Annual Coffeeneurs Challenge at Lydia's Magic Garden (El Gardin Magico de Lydia).
We are treated the outdoor event as a Zero Waste Bicycle Event, where asked riders to use reusable bottle, cups or mugs, wooden or metal utensils and cloth napkins.
Recipe for a #ZeroWaste Event
1. Carry supplies via bicycle
2. Portable Folding Aluminum Table Lightweight Outdoor Garden Camping Picnic Desk With Bag
3. Kettle, backpacking stove and fuel canister
4. Table setup with delicious Dominican pasteles en hojas and pastelitos from Bitter Orange Cafe.
5. Making coffee using French press coffee and vietnamese coffee press
6. Manual coffee grinder
7. Wonderful friends who arrived to the garden by bicycle!
After having a relaxing morning, we rode to Long Island City, New York to attend the Second Annual Harvest Festival.
