Finally I bought myself a handy film camera :P!! (Well, not really that light but I love the metallic body!) The solid build is even better than rolleflex/cord!!!
I swear that it would be the last camera for this year!!! ><~~ !! I do mean it! ( well... except another small gadget in shipping from US :P)

Ho scattato questo lavoro ieri, 31 Dicembre. Avevo bisogno di cambiare aria per il nuovo anno, così ho provato a capovolgere i soliti ritratti seri e belli nella speranza di vedermi in un modo differente nel nuovo anno. E così fu. Nessun uso di photoshop, nessun trucco in viso per creare espressioni che generalmente non vengono immortalate negli scatti ma che, in realtà, fa sempre piacere divedere perchè ci mostrano un'altra parte di noi stessi. Quindi ho deciso di salutare il nuovo anno, proprio questo 2014, prendendomi in giro, e il tutto perchè? Perchè mi sono divertita :)

I shooted these photos yesterday, 31th December 2013. I needed to breath other airs for this new years, so I tried to change the portrait we used to take always serious and nice to hope to see another face of my for these new year. That's what it is, No photoshop, no makeup, to create expression that we regularlu did but actually in front the lens we didn't, showing another aspect of ourselves. So I decide to say hello to this new year 2014, kidding me and why all that? 'Cause I have a great time :)

12/30/07 – Today’s Roulette Challenge features the Thirteen Things group. With mine, I’d thought it would be fun to add a twist. A baker’s dozen of declarations, one (1) is an untruth.
Guess which one it is.
I’ll announce who picks the untruth in a week.
1. I am an Aries, born in the year of the Pig
2. I seriously considered purchasing a brewery a few years ago. It is located in Roslyn, WA (where they filmed Northern Exposure). The obstacle which stopped me was not finding a business partner.
3. Farscape is my favorite show. I consider last half of the 4th season the best TV I’ve ever seen (most particularly the episodes “Prayer” & “Terra Firma”…Rygel on a sugar high, totally classic!)
4. I have a friend who was once picked up by the Secret Service. During the 1992 campaign year, he created flyers that said “George Bush Will Die”…he was being funny because it was not a threat; after all, everybody dies eventually. The Secret Service does not have a sense of humor, but fortunately for him they got the joke & let him go with full knowledge of exactly how they could've made the rest of his punk-ass 19 yr old life miserable. In a post 9-11 world, I don’t think he would have been so lucky.
5. My Mac desktop is so old, it doesn’t have USB ports. It contains years of story ideas, opening chapters, and notes.
6. When Hank (one of our cats) was a year old, he played chase with the neighborhood squirrels. He would chase one across the yard and up a tree, then the squirrel would chase him the other way, and up a tree at the other end of the yard. They would do this for hours.
7. While pregnant with Henry (our 6 yr old), my wife and I bought into a time-share program. We have yet to use it.
8. I mourn books when I finish them. I foresee myself being really depressed when I finish Acacia.
9. Once, I was a security guard backstage at a Grateful Dead concert. I was more excited about Cracker opening than actually being backstage. I was disappointed nobody working security but me (& my friend who got me the gig) seemed to have heard of Cracker.
10. My wife has a half-brother. His uncle wrote “Friends In Low Places,” sung by Garth Brooks.
11. “No regrets” is a life philosophy introduced to me by a friend. I later added “live and learn.” Ironic that she is one of my few friends I would regret losing contact with, if I let myself.
12. The only new car we have purchased had 10 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. I was bummed when it surpassed a hundred miles.
13. Almost all pictures with my kids in them are Friend & Family. This is because of all the incidences of people having images of their children stolen and reposted on Orkut. I’ve seen it too many times to not be freaked about it. If you have pictures of your children on your photostream, I highly recommend if you do the same.
