These motors from a DVD player are hooked up to a DPDT switch. The position of the switch determines what direction both motors spin in.

Just getting this far took a little while. I really don't like Apple's older laptops when it comes to maintenance... Just changing disk takes forever.
Orange and purple wires are for the pump motor. Black yellow and green for the paper detection switch.
