For those who don't know, the BMW System Cases are hardshell expandable cases with a trick look and a seamless attachment system. These are the good points; the bad points are that it takes but a minor drop (not uncommon offroad) to break the flimsy plastic tabs that hold it onto the bike. The upside is that 36" RokStraps will hold them on indefinitely =)
A solid fleece jacket will always have a place in the outdoorsman's kit. The Arc'teryx Delta LT jacket, made with Polartec classic small grid fleece, is warm and comfortable in the backcountry or cruising around town. A high collar provides extra protection, gusseted underarms aid movement and a slight drop in the back hem reduces rear exposure. The Delta LT jacket layers easily under a hardshell and delivers effective warmth for little weight.
