The Olds College Header House is a unique and practical learning environment, especially for Peter Johnston Berresford and his group covering Plant Propagation 101 and Nursery and Greenhouse Planting 101.
In the afternoon, the girls and I went on a walk around Canal Park. We walked out to the Duluth North Pier lighthouse. It was quite cold and windy.
We had just watched two Coast Guard ships rush out under the lift bridge into Lake Superior.
A squirrel is visiting the feeder that the girls made. It kept picking one kernel, eating it while holding it between its paws, running to the evergreen bush to finish eating, and then run back and do the same thing all over again.
Sometimes it would run a bit further to eat - to the pear or pine tree - but it always raced back for another kernel of corn.
according to this 9 year old!!!

Every class member kept a copy of their group’s 11”x17”, single-color poster. A master set of the final twelve posters went on permanent public display in Grainger Hall after being featured at a December BBA arts showcase event.
