Crochet basket No. 2
Garden twine crochet storage basket trimmed with natural coloured cotton and a contrasting pretty blue cotton
custom made for rufina. "teratai" is "water lily" in Malay. it was after taking this picture that it suddenly struck me that these earrings kinda look like water lilies with roots and tendrils submerged underwater.
These handmade bookmarks are made with both vintage and new fabrics. Each bookmark measures roughly 7 inches and has a velvet ribbon attached. They have been machine quilted so that they are nice and flat to ensure they don't force your book open. Each one is 100% unique and would make for great gifts and stocking stuffers! Pictured is both the front and backside of each bookmark.

Corelie the giraffe is an optimist. She grows her own food, makes her own clothes and is passionate about recycling. She's always looking for ways to save energy. She can't throw anything away; she's certain she can use everything for some other purpose. But, she thinks life is not worth living if one can't indulge in fresh baked treats now and again.
Corelie is an original lino block print giraffe in brown textile ink on yellow-gold silk. The backside is patchwork of of a re-purposed wool skirt and vintage cotton floral fabric.
Corelie has not one, but two pockets for hiding secret treasures. She is embellished with iridescent glass bead. She is stuffed with cotton/poly stuffing.
Corelie is one-of-a-kind! But, there are many other giraffes where she came from. All giraffe (pillows) are roughly 30 cm or 12 inches tall.
This is Mookie. He is Ookie's bigger brother. I just finished him today. I plan on making more of him but I think I will change his pattern slightly.
