I'm not sure if this is too crazy for my partner? It's OK though because I love it, so if they don't - I'm fine keeping it for myself ;]
It is REALLY hard to get a good picture of. The back is just plain green Kona so it's only the front that is super crazy.
It's a good size = 10.5" wide x 8" tall with a 3" gusset. I would use it as a pouch to carry my hexie-making materials in.
I have a feeling that everyone will either love this bag or hate this bag - there's not much middle ground here! Let me know, partner, I can always make something more toned down. :]
The inspiration was from this tutorial at LiaSpace, with a few changes - I made mine a different size, boxed the corners, and didn't do the scales on the back of the pouch. :]
my dear friends i wish you a happy new year, stay healthy love each other and have fun!
and also i personally wish you all a flying bat pig of love to bring you a prince or a princess in 2016 if you need one.
happy new year :D

This is my lovely applique bird bag.
My beautiful bag is handmade by me- I am the creative person behind my shop! It is made in a natural coloured linen fabric, a gorgeous piece of printed linen and a fun spotty fabric. My bag features a cheeky bird that I have appliqued from many Liberty printed cottons. But I haven't stopped there....Oh! No! I have contrasted my applique bird with an over sized turquoise spotty button brooch and with lovely fabric that makes up the pleat in the front.
As I have designed this bag myself my aim was to have something that is functional as well as being fun and unusual but also looking fantastic. Therefore I have incorporated pleats into the front and back of the bag. The pleat in the front is made in a colourful contrasting spotty fabric (pic 3), the pleat in the back is made in the natural coloured linen. Pleats make the bag nice and roomy while looking FAB.
I have added two olive green contrasting handles to this bag and I think they give this bag a little bit of designer quality while being strong and nice to hold. I think they contrast nicely with the oversized button brooch, while tying in and complimenting the other colours and fabrics.
My bag measures approx 35.5cms/14inches at its widest part- which is the bottom. It is 32cms/12inches in length. It has an approximate opening off 20cms/8inches.
The straps measures 33cms/13inches long.
It fastens with a magnetic clasp ensuring that your bits and bobs are secure.
I have lined it with a yummy botanical print and added a 'bellows pocket' which will allow plenty of room for your mobile phone or lippy etc (see the 5th pic). I have also sewn a wadding inside to keep it plush.
Use my bag to carry around your favourite items, your cherished books, note pads and pens or to just look gorgeous!
Well partner, this is what I ended up doing with those hexies. I hope you like it! The book is graph paper, perfect for quilt designing!
I used the Stitched in Color tutorial for this: www.stitchedincolor.com/2012/08/tutorial-journal-covers.html

These are the characters I made for screenprinting on natural cotton tote bags. The process was quite heavy, as long as there was long I didn´t screeprint, but I´m happy with the results! ^o^
Crochet raspberries. Blogged about at www.annemarieshaakblog.blogspot.com and available in my Etsy-shop.
The lighting must've been a little off when I snapped this pic, for the colors are much more vibrant in person than they appear here, and the little dolly looks more crisp & clear.
