Inside my father's tool shop.
I wonder how many times this handle has been touched? If you used it twice a day to open and close the door every day that would add up to 1,460 times a year. Times that by 10 years and it would be 14,600. Let your mind do other calculations, at any rate it is a lot!
In downtown Atlanta, Georgia, an artist (unknown to me) has incorporated these fire-hose connecting handles to his/her colorful graphic image.
This glass button has never been used. It's about ¾" wide and was made in the Czech Republic in the 1920s. It's so delicate I'm a bit scared to handle it, to be honest, but it's survived for 100 years and I love its fragile beauty. The button is sitting on a length of hand-torn fabric ribbon.

A Wetherspoon pub in Oxford, I think named in honour of the classic comedy sketch on TV by The Two Ronnies, broadcast in 1976.
Very frosty mornings lately in Rural Nova Scotia. Went to jump in the truck and noticed the interesting Frosty handle. The pattern was unique as the sun hitting the black plastic was starting to melt the bitter cold nights Frost. The Red and Black scene gave the pop to the impression.

For theme handle: Handles of 2 espresso cups. The handles lean till the bottom. This is why I choose to photograph these cups.

I snapped this photo shortly after this freefall parachuting tandem team jumped out directly under the midday sun. With a 1000mm focal length and atmospheric haze, sharpness was not to be, but to my delight, I captured part of the sundog and its rainbow.
Needless to say, their skills were amazing!
May each one of us take inspiration this Memorial Day from the patriotism of the brave soldiers who died for our country!
