A somewhat late Key / keyhole shot , this is the old door at Bookham church . Not used now as this shot was taken through an outer door like a pair of locked garden gates . The main entrance is now through a glass door at the end of the church under the bell tower ( now wheelchair friendly ) . This old door seems to be only opened for special occasions .
Good job I had the little GX1 as I would never have got the dslr lenses through the metal bars of the outer doors !!
Rose thorns in macro. Sometimes even handling these with care doesn't help, they even poke me through gloves.
Today was a great day to work outside and finish cleaning up the gardens. It got to 62F/16C. Tomorrow it cools off again.

I've been collecting stamps since I was child. I love to handle them with tweezers, observing their wonderful details under the lens. Definitively a macro world.

Flying into Singapore today, I was struck afresh by the number of container ships all around it. A LinkedIn article says that Singapore handles 1,000 tons of cargo per minute.
This little cream pitcher is at Mom's house. I am not sure where it came from but I suspect it was once my paternal great grandmother's. The little handle is SO amazing, I thought it was perfect for the challenge!
Oops! I missed the deadline . . . we are central standard time zone! Well, anyway! For Smile on Saturday! - handle
few of us make it to a certain age in life without being just a little bit weather beaten, a bit rough around the edges and maybe dragging a few chains but then the sun comes shining and bright, chasing away any dark shadows that we might finally get a handle on it all......
A school boy , returning to home from school. This is pure coincidence that the boy started to adjust his backpack strap by leaving both the hands from the cycle handle. He was not aware that I was capturing image.
Well , at that age this kind of attitude is very common. Haven't we all have been reckless like that at that age , feel powerful , the world at our feet , big dreams ...
Location : In a very secluded road in small town , 30km from Calcutta ( Kolkata ), in the state of West Bengal in India.
The holly is so prickly it hurts! And our holly has no berries, so I paired it with some redcurrants, which I've been making into redcurrant sauce - I don't like cranberries as much 😊

This Rustic Handle has been taken for this weeks Macro Mondays theme of 'Handle'. It is from an outside log burner and burns nicely on chilly evenings in our garden. HMM
