New fold formed cuff with a variety of textures using a dapping punch, old chisel, center punch and ball peen hammer.
These earrings are constructed from Japanese glass seed beads, Czech firepolished glass beads, sterling silver beadcaps, and sterling silver leverbacks.
The beaded segments are created with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "gourd stitch".

I etched copper discs which were then domed and treated to create a patina. Peridot and amethyst dangles hang on balled copper wire.

Copper discs were drilled, domed and sanded for a matte finish. The sterling strips were recycled from an old lamp base found at a thrift store.

This is the current project on my workbench. I'm using parts from an old typewriter that I took apart last year. The central part of the pendant is the part of the typewriter where the striker keys hit the inked ribbon/tape. A portion of the definition of 'typeface' from an old dictionary is set in the opening . Aquamarine and amazonite were added for some color.
This was made for one of my older sisters who liked the other, similar pin that I made. All connections are made with small rivets.
New necklace with bezel set jasper on etched silver nickel. Chain is made with links from recycled copper wire with wire wrapped smoky crystals.
I love this necklace!! It is full of texture and it kind of demands attention. I used hand forged copper rings (from recycled copper), sterling links and spacers and amazonite. This can be worn doubled up as shown here or in a single, long length.

One of my vintage photos found at a flea market inspired this piece. A portion of the photo is combined with text from a 1940's dictionary and set with resin in a copper bezel. The bezel base is a piece of brass that I milled with a leaf. Riveted to the bottom of the pendant base is a portion of a brass box that I cut apart. The chain is attached with wire wrapped recycled beads and is highlighted with wire wrapped freshwater pearls.

A whimsical yellow Porcelain bird bead and a couple of American Artisan crafted Poppy Flower lampwork glass beads make this charming one of a kind bracelet truly cute to the highest degree. I've added in some colorful glass beads in red, yellow, and pea green to complete the design.
Gemstone charms in shades of mint, turquoise and white slide along a 14K Gold Filled ball chain and gather into a pendant at the center.
The gems include a polished White Agate spear, faceted mint green AAA Chrysoprase briolettes and rondelles, a doublet with some 18K white gold leaf layered between a faceted slice of Turquoise and a polished slice of clear Quartz, a large polished Amazonite rondelle, faceted Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rondelles and White Freshwater Pearls.

While I like pearl necklaces, I don't have much interest in making them. They're too formal for me. I made this one for a request made just before Valentine's Day, adding the red coral sticks for a fun, festive look. Includes Swarovski crystals and sterling beads.
