In Japanese, "arata" means "new"!
These earrings are crafted from Japanese glass seed beads with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "peyote stitch." The beadcaps and leverbacks are all sterling silver.
Measurements: 2"/5.1 cm
This gorgeous Frida Kahlo statement necklace features her image sealed under resin and outlined with gold leaf on a patinated 1 3/4" copper disc. Two good luck cicadas converge on a copper disc from which the Frida centerpiece dangles. I made the 20" chain with brass rings and copper circles that I used a red patina on just like on the Frida background. It features a handwrought clasp. This is as one-of-a-kind as you can get. It would be a magnificent adornment for any occasion.
I named this bracelet for the resemblance of its segments to the prayer wheels used by Buddhists, which is fitting considering how meditative and centering creating them is for me.
The segments are created from Japanese glass seed beads with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "peyote stitch". Czech firepolished glass beads, sterling silver beadcaps, and a sterling silver trigger clasp complete the bracelet, which is strung on four strands of parachute cord.
Measurements: 8"/20.5 cm

Interesting signage in the town of Goldfield Nevada. The town is very full of life, lots to see and look at with a great look back at a town that Wyatt Earp called home for a few years.
I was inspired for this #brooch from wall designs of FigJam Studio.
Materials are #zipper, #felt and achira seed from Amazon jungle. I put a little #embroidery for mouth and eyelashes.

I had some scrap clay and didn't know what to do with it. Just playing around and ended it up with land and sky. The surface is crackled and filled in with white paint. O and the 2 birds just passed by ;-)

The rattlesnake is one of the most venomous snakes in the United States. It has a series of horny rings at the end of its tail that swings rapidly when it encounters an enemy or when there is rapid activity, emitting a sound unique to it. As Shakespeare said, there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. Everyone's understanding of the meaning of sound is different, and the same for the meaning carried by this necklace will have a different interpretation. Let's find the unique sound memory belonging to each of us from this necklace!

I hand wrapped this stunning bangle with pure copper wire. The focal point of this bangle is a purple glass bead in the center with gold swirls. A melody of copper and purple. Completely wire wrapped. The clasp is a wire wrapped hook clasp.
Wisteria memories is a tribute to a cherished memory my Grandfather shared with me about their wedding day back in the 1930's. I hand forged a copper wreath and bow. Then wirewrapped beautiful wisteria seed beads, purple and AB swarovski crystals, small iris fired delicas and green czech glass drops to it to form the floral vine of those memories.
It hangs from a hand crafted copper chain with a beaded embellishment and a copper toggle closure that is easy to do yourself.

This steampunk necklace is a transmogrification of the little Etsy Octo into the less cuddly Cthulhu! In this version the cthulhu has received a dark patina before being drilled into so that the red bead dangles could flow from his forehead. More bead drops dangle from the tentacles. He has been riveted to a drawer pull segment that has a subtle heart theme. Emerging wings are represented by filigree leaf shapes on either side of the drawer pull. He hangs from a gorgeous 16" cut-crystal and link chain that is closed with a safety clasp. Cthulu centerpiece measures 4" x 3.5". Let'em eat steam!
