I've been going to a doctor on 16th in Potrero for my foot for a couple weeks now, and have been watching the progress as these guys clean up the graffiti on this building. They have most of the windows clear now. How someone managed to bomb two full sides of this building from ground to the roof without being noticed is beyond me.
This is a very pretty necklace. 30" long and it comprises quartz ovals and carved jade barrel beads.
The colour of the quartz ovals alterates between cream, creamy orange and deep orange. This is toned down by the pale green jade barrels. Attractive and eye catching colour play.
Montoro is a town in Córdoba located along the banks of the Guadalquivir river. The town's main site are the church of San Bartolomé, the remains of the castle of Mota and the castle of Julia!
This is an interesting Green aventurine pendant. I thought of doing it up in either silver or gold tone wirework but decided to give it a more rustic look by using a leather thong. Beads are resin and glass.

The Nurse Doll Story
I designed this doll to honor my Mom and Grandmom who were both lifelong, caring professional nurses. I remember Mom and Grandmom coming home after long hours of hospital work with very sore, swelled feet and as a little girl my Grandmom would tell me "Nurses need extra hearts in their feet to be able to make it through the long hours of their days on their feet."
If you look closely at each of the Nurse Dolls you will find that she too has swelled feet and an "extra set of hearts" on each foot just as I remember my Grandmom telling me.
Every one of us knows, or will one day know the kind of gentle caregiver that inspired the design of this doll...
To my Mom and Grandmom, and all the other very special Nurses in our lives---thank-you for the life of caring and love you gave to so many in need.
Handcrafted from sterling silver wire and sterling sheet metal. Discs were made in a forming block and hammered, and the wire was hammered as well.
This handcrafted sterling silver ring was made with 2 different thickness of wire. It was coiled, wrapped and woven resulting in a comfortable ring that is one of a kind.
