Recipe from vintage cookbook, weekend project gifted hot from the oven on a cold (for Phoenix) night. Alberta Hunter albums brought home from a previous wintry trip to Chicago provided a warm soundtrack for the mixing, rising and baking. Kneading the dough made me miss prepping clay in the pottery studio...hopefully will be able to get back to that later this spring...Marcos' order of sake cups is at the top of the queue.
Turquoise and new jade. Soothing and cool colours. The new jade of course feels very cool against the skin but the turquoise is not colour enhanced and is a lovely pale milky turquoise shade. Pewter toggle to tie up the ends :)

A fun piece, the ingredients are a dash of colour from czech glass beads, garnishing from a barrel centerpiece (worn to the side)with pale orange, yellow, purple, green embellishments. Cheerful and fun.

One side of a custom choker I made, with the leaf and vine motif. More garnets, copper leaves, copper wire. Ties in the back with a short burgundy ribbon. Doesn't really need it, it actually stays put.

Sterling Silver wire hand wrapped to provide a custom setting for the stone. This Stone has incredible banded colors and spots. Six carnelian links strung to the Sterling Silver cut curb diamond Chain.Length: 20 inches
Carnelian Stone is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 by 1 inches approx. in size.
A beautiful, large, (10 mm) natural pearl is the centerpiece of this ring.
It sits on an asymmetrical, cast base, handcrafted from sterling silver.
The ring is 1/2 inch high from the base. Size: 7-1/4 (almost 7-1/2).
Handcrafted from scratch, this bracelet features an amazing doublet Plume Agate Lapis cabochon set in sterling silver, adorned by a pair of Moonstone round cabochons set in silver flowers. Each link was handforged in sterling silver, with the word LIFE stamped on the handcrafted toggle clasp.

A pretty creation spoilt by my 'night' photography.
A czech AB crystal hides under a pewter bead cap and 4 gold plated chains dangle from this crystal. To the chains I've added white/clear czech glass/crystals and a swarovski crystal butterfly. 4" drop. Goldfilled ear wires.
Goldplated heart from Japan evokes pure love.
Agate Bezel Pusher that was my hubby's Great Grandfather's. Found in his watch repair box and I made a new handle for it and continue to use it to this day. Well over 125 years old.
