Putting my sledom used scrapbooking materials to another use. I enjoy making simple cards; I feel it's a more personal touch. These are samples of what I will be making for Christmas this year.

A medley of black onyx stones in several different shapes, the focal point would be the two large puffed oval stones I've placed on each side. Although basic black the various shapes make this interesting.

The tūī (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is a boisterous medium-sized bird native to New Zealand. It is blue, green, and bronze coloured with a distinctive white throat tuft (poi). It is an endemic passerine bird of New Zealand, and the only species in the genus Prosthemadera. It is one of the largest species in the diverse Australasian honeyeater family Meliphagidae, and one of two living species of that family found in New Zealand, the other being the New Zealand bellbird (Anthornis melanura). The tūī has a wide distribution in the archipelago, ranging from the subtropical Kermadec Islands to the sub-Antarctic Auckland Islands, as well as the main islands.
Tui is the name of the artist's paternal grandmother and my mother.

I am particularly happy with the color and finish of the leather, but I am still looking for matching footwear to complete the outfit. Any recommendations?
If you want a special handcrafted guitar, especially one made from salvaged Tasmanian wood, then Billy Tarrant is the man for you. He trained as a professional luthier and now creates bespoke guitars (acoustic and electric) out of his studio in Devonport. He was one of the major exhibitors at the recent Tasmanian Craft Fair in Deloraine. These guitars are worth every penny. They look beautiful and play like a dream.

A series I have been working on for a while. I wanted to move forward a little, still concentrating on still life photography but getting a way from the classical idea of still life to something new for me. All dresses are made from folded and cut paper and old wallpaper samples---didn't know that I was a crafter too-smile----I made more dresses than intended and so this seemed the best way to show them to my Flickr people---

The bugs themed stuff. The outfit is inside the folded blue thin cardboard held closed by wooden clips decorated with ladybugs. The stickers are also supposed to be bug themed. ^_^' Some wooden sticky decorative ladybugs are wrapped into red tulle and tied with a red thin ribbon.

This is a wonderful necklace that can be worn several different ways! I combined pearls from size 12mm to 8 mm wrapped in sterling silver joined with sterling hand hammered links! Go to my

R2D2 whittled by younger child for me for Mother's Day 2022. He told me he was trying to think of things I liked and that he remembered that I always was happy when R2D2 appeared in whatever Star Wars show/movie we were watching, so he decided to whittle me my own R2D2.

it's a little crowded but that's okay, as there is never anything like too much 'glee' at christmas
I love making handcrafted cards. I cut out a couple of flowers from the background paper, punched out some shapes from shiny card and layered them up with 3D foam.
