THIS WAS CUSTOM PAINTED FOR A RETAIL CHOCOLATE SHOP. THIS IS THE TASSELFROM THE RUG AT THE FRONT DOOR AND CUSTOMER HAVE BEEN SEEN TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN THE FRINGE OF THE RUG WITH THEIR FEET.

Smooch's room is all decked out with Dr. Seuss. He's got several licensed plush characters and the curtains, crib bumpers, and blanket from the new line of bedroom stuff. But I made this all by myself (the toybox was mine when I was a kid).
I pulled out my paint brushes today to paint a calendar / day timer for a friend's birthday gift.
This is an 8 1/2 x 11 " calendar.

Corriedale custom dyed and spun for Katy, winner of my raffle:
the loooong winding it into a center pull ball (yes I know I need to get a ball-winder, someday...)
Balsa wood box stained with wine, blue and mocha glazes. Pink rose with little yellow flowers and rose buds. Inside has a pink felt bottom. This box is Mod Podge sealed with a high gloss finish. This box is 6 1/2 x 4 1/2. 3" tall and when open, the bottom is 2" deep. All paints are water based acrylics. Also painted a rose on the bottom for a finishing touch.

Great hand painted signage on the side of a fabulous arched Art Deco-esque building near the Hippodrome. The word was classically stacked over three lines in optometrist chart style - Bristol, UK
Italian vermeil face powder box enamelled with faux turquoise and a handpainted miniature rendition of the 1477 work by Sandro Botticelli titled Primavera. Manufactured after 1944 by Giuliano Spinelli silversmiths of Florence.
