Using Wendy Happy sock yarn, 75/25 bamboo/nylon blend, 2.25mm KnitPicks Options circular needle, plain stocking stitch toe up sock, Judy's Magic Cast on, WendyKnits gusset/heel flap, sewn bind off.

Completely by accident, the stripes matched perfectly, except for the toe - due to a knot in the grey section on sock one.

This top was inspired by the three color sweater Betty Mouat by Kate Davies. Two years ago I had knitted a white cardigan, a blue sweater and a red top and had plenty of remaining yarn, so when I saw Kate in her Betty Mouat on her blog, I felt immediately challenged to make something similar for myself.

Mit grosser Begeisterung habe ich ein neues Strickprojekt angefangen. Erstmals habe ich mit dem Stricken der Jacke beim Halsausschnitt angefangen und stricke die Ärmel gleich mit. So wird mir am Schluss das Zusammennähen der Strickteile erspart und ich hoffe, dass es auch funktioniert. : )
