Still sweltering as the summer is getting underway. Makes me wish I could take off and explore the Aegean Sea. Alas, the closest I can get is looking at pics on the internet... which inspired me to to make this adorable halter!
Netted leather like a fisherman's net on the sea, midriff halter to stay cool in the sun, stamped with a colored pattern and on cool breezy linen. This halter ties in the back up at the neck and above the waist, as 5 decorative tassels hang in the front.
These Aegean Halters come available in the following mesh bodies:

I have it on good authority that that sun flare was not actually eminating from my noggin, and in fact It was digitally inserted!
I went to the 2015 Georgia State NBHA Championships at the Georgia International Horse Park today. I’d never been to the park and it was just a practice day so I just spent the day roaming around. That’s when I saw this beauty. The color combination was just too perfect to pass up.

As I’ve mentioned before, horses get nervous when you focus on them. This one was no different. I’m not crazy about the angle of the trailer — or the blue bucket — but the colors and tones seem to compensate for all faults.

Mosquito have a pair of scaled wings, a pair of halteres, a slender body, and long legs. The females of most mosquito species suck blood (hematophagy) from other animals[ This blood sucking characteristic has made mosquitoes one of the most deadly vectors known to man, literally killing millions of people over thousands of years and continuing to kill millions per year. Mosquitoes weigh only about 2 to 2.5 mg (0.03 to 0.04 grain). A mosquito can travel up to 10km in a night, and fly for 1 to 4 hours continuously at up to 1-2 km/hr. Most species are nocturnal or dawn or evening feeders (crepuscular).
Food habits
Both male and female mosquitoes are nectar feeders, but the female is also capable of sucking blood. Females do not require blood for survival, but they do need protein obtained from blood for the development and laying of their eggs. Prior to sucking the blood, they inject a mild painkiller that causes the host to not feel pain from the bite. However humans can tell if a mosquito is biting them or not from a sensation of mild discomfort.
