Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Research and Studies Center (www.madina2013.com) organised an exhibition on the life of the Prophet [pbuh] in Ramadaan 2016 outside Al Masjid An Nawawi. The purpose was to highlight the Prophet’s [pbuh] life, wisdom, characteristics, relationships, mission for Islam and an outline of the series of events during his birth and death. The exhibition comprised banners displaying authentic hadith, calligraphy and made use of installation arts using architectural material to take the audience through a virtual tour in the Prophet’s [pbuh] lifetime.
June 01, 2013 at 10:03AM Narrated `Abdullah: We used to pray behind the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and used to say: "As-Salamu 'Al-Allah. The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Allah himself is As-Salam (Name of Allah), so you should say: 'at-Tahiyatu lil-laihi was- sala-watu wattaiyibatu, as-sallamu 'Alasia aiyuha-n-nabiyyu wa rahrmatu-l-lahi wa barak-atuhu, As-salamu 'alaina wa 'ala 'ibaldi-l-lahi as-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha il-lallah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `Abduhu wa rasuluhu."' حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَقِيقُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَقُولُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّلاَمُ وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ". Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah () used to observe I`tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعتكف العشر الأواخر من رمضان. Narrated Anas: Zaid bin Haritha came to the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) complaining about his wife. The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) kept on saying (to him), "Be afraid of Allah and keep your wife." Aisha said, "If Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) were to conceal anything (of the Qur'an he would have concealed this Verse." Zainab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and used to say, "You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens." And Thabit recited, "The Verse:-- 'But (O Muhammad) you did hide in your heart that which Allah was about to make manifest, you did fear the people,' (33.37) was revealed in connection with Zainab and Zaid bin Haritha." حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ يَشْكُو فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " اتَّقِ اللَّهَ، وَأَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ ". قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَوْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَاتِمًا شَيْئًا لَكَتَمَ هَذِهِ. قَالَ فَكَانَتْ زَيْنَبُ تَفْخَرُ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَقُولُ زَوَّجَكُنَّ أَهَالِيكُنَّ، وَزَوَّجَنِي اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمَوَاتٍ. وَعَنْ ثَابِتٍ {وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ} نَزَلَتْ فِي شَأْنِ زَيْنَبَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ.
