Isn't the season change both amazing and amazingly fast? This photo was taken in front of the very same window as the previous Zinnia post. Not only is the green gone, but so are the leaves themselves.

While the ground isn't this barren, much of our cushioning snow disappeared from the rain last week. Then the temperature dropped to truly frigid, leaving a thin, hard pack of snow. Bogart misses the comfort of running in the soft, fluffy, white stuff. Hopefully we will eventually get that back for him!

How nice not to need to use the grave Kevin dug before the snow flew and the ground froze. Here's to much more time with this dear boy.
