This is one of those photos that really wasn't very special - but I loved the people I was sitting with while I drank this awesome sangria (thank you Staci!) and I loved the way the light hit the glass and cast that shadow. Even if it just makes me happy, it's good enough. LOL :-)
Happy Tipsy Tuesday!
HTT 327 DR327. My 1/43 code 3 representation of one of the first batch of 8 London style AEC Regent 3 chassis with pre-selector gearboxes new to Devon General in 1947. They were bodied by Weymann and cosidered to be among the smoothest running of any of the Company's vertical-engined buses. I did this model from an Ixo/Hachette RT. This was one of the most difficult models to dismantle. It's a Park Royal bod not Weymann but you have use what you can get. Other oldies like me will remember the RT done in Devon General livery by EFE.

Across the Pond
I just uploaded fifty-eight recent tongue photos to sort. Don't worry, I'm not flooding my stream, but I am having a tough time choosing a few favorites for tomorrow. Thought I'd start tonight with a photo of my precious Vidalia. What a phenomenal feline she is. Wish we all could have her optimism in life. Some day, dear Vidalia, Gumbo will love you, too. Some day. Look at it this way, he may whack you from time to time for incessantly rubbing your back under his chin, but at least he doesn't pummel you like he does Grigsby. And Grigsby would never dream of deliberately touching Gumbo let alone repeatedly rubbing against him. That dear lad gets trounced for just not moving out of Gumbo's way when he naps in random places on the floor (Grigsby's napping places can be such a hoot). Don't worry, Grigsby doesn't get walloped often. He's a quick study, too smart to need repeated lessons. Vidalia, on the other hand, will likely never learn. Eternal optimism, I tell you, eternal optimism.
