Being young motorheads at the time, we were simply following that Porsche 911, which appears to be the hotter 'S' model.
Back then, if I had a camera with me and if I saw an interesting car (the Porsche 911 in this case), I would try to take a picture of it. Not having a zoom lens, it would be done with whatever lens I had on the camera at the time, usually a 50mm. That would often mean that the photo would include a lot of whatever was around the intended subject. In retrospect, the images show much of the landscape of the time, for which I now feel quite appreciative.
