Tuesday is Farmer's Market day in Macroom, the market takes up most of the parking spaces so it gets a bit chaotic! I park over the bridge & walk up the hill. I liked the multi-coloured buildings & decorative street lamp which is outside the castle entrance.

It wasn't easy to take photos of the muntjacs last Friday at the wildlife park. There were too many people, especially too many noisy children, and the muntjacs are shy and love their peace and quiet. I know that, of course, and didn't really expect to even see the muntjacs that day, but when I was already about to leave the park in the early afternoon, I ran into this handsome male who allowed me to take a few shots. I didn't even have to bribe him !
