This rather delipidated bench is one of 2 that Martin & I bought when we ran Mountain View B&B in Co. Cork, so probably around 2005, just after we moved to Ireland from England. He repaired & repainted them both many times over the years. The photo in the first comment box below shows this one looking pristine in 2015
Both benches were in a very sad (unsafe) state, so I recently contacted the local Men's Shed about the possibility of getting them renovated. Two very helpful men called over & collected them last week. The metal parts have now been returned to me & the cut to size timber will arrive soon. Once it's all painted the chaps will then take it all away & reassemble the benches for me. Watch this space.

Just waiting in line for the car wash and noticed this pole and wires. So thru the windshield of a dirty car.
A vintage Dodge Ramcharger sits on a neighbor's farm hoping for its restoration to be completed. She's in pretty decent shape,so I'm anxious to see the end result....
