The challenge was to make a postcard that relates in some way to one of our own favorite Christmas carols or songs. We Three Kings has always been one of my favorites, and it seemed easier to illustrate than God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen or Good King Wenceslas. Magi shapes inspired by some Christmas card I found online; their robes are filled with zentangle-inspired patterns.
(the computer our scanner is attached to is dying, and I haven't perfected the science of photographing these works yet!)
