Hugging the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains a southerly moving HPC or high precipitation cell dumps pea size hail and heavy rain in Arvada, Lakewood, and Golden. A BNSF northbound manifest slowly rolls around the tangent at Westminster, Colorado along the picturesque Front Range Subdivision the old Colorado & Southern. Severe storms not only favor the High Plains but also near and in the foothills. .
