ABOUT:

This is a flying look of the Blacktron spaceship from my new 3in1 Lego Ideas project. Check the thrusters, they have changed position. So did the cockpit, which is now more inclined giving it a more aggressive look. The Blacktron spaceship features many possible cockpit positions.

I have also two 19 studs long hoses positioned in the back which I am only able to show in real pics as Stud.io does not let me bend this brick and I do not know how to use LDD Draw yet. Check the updates at LegoIdeas and you will find the real pic there.

Life wasn't meant to be like this for a twin!

This is like a picture frame on the wall. Taken at the lift lobby. It was a dramatic skyline and not too long after, it was pouring.

TED: "I'm off on me holibobs agane in a coupla days, so today I decided to have a bit of a spa day. First of all I rubbed body loshun in all me dry crinkly bits an' then I rapped cling film all over me an' laid down fer a bit. It's called a 'hydrating body wrap' an' I'm s'posed to feel all nice an' smooth afterwards. Mum sez she'll Febreze me later *shudders* an' then I'll be all reddy to fly to the sun!"

There was an old Chevy Malibu for sale, parked at Anderson Lumber. The gear shift and speedometer reminded me of my first car: a 1981 Buick Regal Ltd. It was nearly as large as this Malibu, and easily twice as hideous. It looked a bit like this.

As per request of leetrfrkno, here\'s a How-To for my Ketar Revamp. The build is a bit more complicated and unconventional than the other how tos I\'ve done, so I tried my best to make it slow and clear. Still, let me know if you have any questions.

Few tips:

There are a few connections in here that might be considered "illegal" as they put stress on the parts (such as the neck connection).

The brown minifig backpack parts were used as 1/4 stud spacers to keep the gears clear of obstruction. The minifig handlebar part that connects the back armor serves the same purpose.

Two legs are built with the 4L HF bones facing vertically, and the other two are facing horizontally.

When building the head, DO NOT USE OLD EXO-FORCE ARMS. Use the new reinforced ones, as the Creature heads will break the old ones! I found this out the hard way (with some of my few good brown arms). You have been warned.

When building the tail stinger, I used a black one of these in case you couldn\'t tell.

How will the program of Pedestrian Countdown Timers reduce congestion of Brusbane's streets?

A wartime book showing how to make toys out of wood scraps at a time when commerically made toys were almost impossible to obtain. This charming cover, no designer given, is rather reminiscent of the 'Berte Process' colour dust jackets that helped popularise Batsford's books at the time.

Thanks to Todd and Miriam for showing my Dad and I the location of the Pickaway County Sandhill Cranes tonight. It was the second time for me to see them in the wild and first time in Ohio.

That also resulted in me getting my first ever Ring-necked Pheasant photos in the wild. It was very exciting and cool!

One has to ask just how or why a bear could be on a shear rock wall 100 feet Off the water with another few thousand feet above him.

The why is easy mountain goats, this wall along the water line is a common place to view mountain goats in turn this is his hunting grounds. More than likely the bear is sitting on a recent kill.

As for the how he got here is well we may never know but quite a challenge.

I can't help it, sometimes it's almost aural, you can almost hear the light and how it breaks through the glass and gently rubs on the skin and clothing, making a gentle shhhh sound on the edge of silence...

Nikon D800E Photos of a Pretty Blond Bikini Swimsuit Model Goddess in Blue Jeans Cutoffs Modeling Gold 45 Revolver Gold'N'Virtue Swimsuits & Lingerie with the famous golden gun! She had pretty blue-green-grey-hazel eyes--the colors kept changing! The Colt 45 Revolver comes directly form Clint Eastwood's/Sergio Leone's Fistful of Dollars--my favorite Western--heck my favorite all-time film, exalting the classical, archetypal themes I seek in all my photography! The goddess is standing in front of the 45surf summer beach house!

She was tall, thin, pretty, and fit with gorgeous blue-green eyes and long, long legs! Shot with the new D800E and my favorite workhorse lens the very sharp Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens. A slight change of pace for all my flickr fans!

Here's some HD video shot during the lingerie shoot that day:

The tall, brown-haired, blue-eyed goddess was wearing a leather buffalo nickel cowboy hat! Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

May the Hero's Journey Mythology Goddess inspire you (as they have inspired me!) along your own artistic journey! Love, love, love the 70-200mm F/2.8 Lens! Holding it up all day, alongside the Sony NEX 6 with the 50mm F/1.8 lens for cool video bokeh which I have mounted under the Nikon D800E camera, is quite the workout! My shoulders have gotten bigger after so many days with six hour shoots in the AM and 3 hour shoots in the PM holding that rig up :). Plus I have to carry all the gear, books, and clothes a few hundred yards up and down the steep cliffs. I count my photography days as two workout days. :) But I love it! Every day presents a puzzle--how to figure out the light, and every model presents a mystery to be unlocked--what are her best angles/poses/actions? Nothing beats the challenge of capturing the natural beauty of a day out there, when the light's dynamic range can change by a factor of ten in a few minutes as the mist burns away to reveal the sun, and then the wind whips up and a fog rolls on in, making it seem like a windy December dusk in July. One must always be mindful of tide, times, and temperatures and work quickly before the cameras get too hot in the sun, or the model gets too cold in the wind, as the tide and rogue waves reach out to grab your equipment/props/clothes and claim them for Poseidon, the god of the sea . Beach photography/video is just like surfing, with the conditions always changing and every wave a bit different. Studio photography is like riding an exercise bike set at level 1 in a gym in front of a TV. And shooting stills and video @ the same time is like Jimmy Page or Slash improvising on his double-necked guitar.

I'm working on a book called "Lone Cowboy Photography: A Humble Hero's Journey into the Art of Photography" about how to shoot it all on your own--stills and video for sports, portraits, and landscapes--with no assistants nor teams. Just you and the goddesses, the heroic athletes, the majestic, epic landscapes, and a copy of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey to teach you of the poetry of epic, heroic beauty. You gotta be ready, son--you gotta be ready for quick-draw showdowns at sunrise and sunset, during the magic hours and in the harsh light at high noon. Every shoot is over the second you finish packing your bags for the day with all your batteries, backup cameras, freshly-cleaned lenses, washed and folded clothes and hoodies, and props and polarizer filters. Every shoot ends the second the prep is over, and the fun, and art, and life of the live performance begins. :) "Every fighter has a plan," said boxing great Mike Tyson, "Until they get hit."

On the table in a hat and gloves. That's how I eat mine =)

Yay for Cadbury Creme Eggs! I've been looking forward to this shoot all week but of course, had to spend my time on my uni work. I wrote almost a half of my Crusades essay this morning so that's good. I went shopping this afternoon and ran into one of my good friends from Timaru who was on the way to Hamner Springs with her hubby for their 4th wedding anniversary so that was cool. Apparently her husband had been planning the trip for just over a month and she only found out about it like, last week. How sweet is that?

Yay, I'm going away tomorrow afternoon after work! I can't wait. Time to take loads of photos =)

Stranger portrait - Chad (vintage manual focus lens).

Chad was sitting in Calgary's Olympic Plaza downtown when I stopped to ask him if I could take his portrait. He asked me if my accent was from the Midlands in the UK, I said it was and he told me he'd been brought up in Leicester and Norwich so he recognized it.

We chatted for about 20 minutes about everything from the state Canada's in at the moment to how things had changed since we were kids.

The vintage lens I used didn't render the portrait as good has I hoped but at least I had a great conversation and next time I see Chad around I'll take another one.

Danbo explored Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey today. He climbed trees and pondered life's big, important, questions. It took him a long time, but he finally came to the conclusion that he needed more information. He really didn't know where to begin with 'How high?', but he thought half way up a tree was probably a good place to continue his deliberations. :)

Thanks for inviting me today, Lillian. I'd love to see Winkworth in its autumn glory!
