I captured this during blue hour on an extremely foggy morning at the Wolf Creek Dam on Lake Cumberland.

One more Cherry Blossom photo from Wednesday's sunrise. I took this one during blue hour, on my way to the location where I took the Jefferson Memorial photo posted yesterday. Before walking around this curve, I noticed the sky looked good and it was a nice comp with this tree. In addition (and maybe most importantly) no photographers had their tripods setup in the shot! Score! While I had to work around different people walking through, I was able to capture a few clear frames before moving on.
On more note: I focused on the Jefferson Memorial this year because renovations are now complete! The exterior (especially the roof) looks great again!

Chimney Rock Trail- No comments today – just enjoy :-)
It was the hour in which objects lose the consistency of shadow that accompanies them during the night and gradually reacquire colors, but seem to cross meanwhile an uncertain limbo, faintly touched, just breathed on by light; the hour in which one is least certain of the world's existence.

The last couple years the neighborhood fireworks have been pretty spectacular for an amateur backyard show. I decided to capture them this year and was very pleased with my camera. I used the bulb setting and manual focusing. I used different exposure times on all three of these.
I hope you enjoy some of the show!
This picture was taken in the Business District of Lille, at blue hour, wich matches, at this time of the year, with the rush hour.
I was looking for a modern urban scenery with lots of lights, colors and human activity and this spot provided me all I wanted.

A late evening visit to Embleton beach to capture one of the classic views of Dunstanburgh Castle, from the ‘black rocks’, was unfortunately greeted by a fairly uninspiring sky. I had hoped for some clouds that would catch the light as the sun set over my right shoulder. Alas all I had was this single lonely wandering cloud, which soon, too, disappeared 😖. Still, a very pleasant evening.
