Honey Bee Harvesting some Rose Pollen.

Honey Flower in the rain

Taken with the very light z24 200 .. sharp and at 6.3 in a dark wood. The next one is taken with my 105 1.4 .. I think I prefer that one even though this is good .. tones are slightly softer and I like the shallower dof

For Dave, I cropped this shot so there are no petals

at the right of the stem as in the previous uploaded

photo...which is better?

Lambertia formosa

Like all honey bee species, the western honey bee is eusocial, creating colonies with a single fertile female (or "queen"), many normally non-reproductive females or "workers", and a small proportion of fertile males or "drones". Individual colonies can house tens of thousands of bees. Colony activities are organized by complex communication between individuals, through both pheromones and the waggle dance. Train Station Location

Swanton Novers, Norfolk. A couple of hours birding on a family holiday. First time HB's have been residing in Norfolk for 4 years (I believe), they had been showing well in previous days so we turned up just after 9 to find one flying overhead. Frantically got the camera set up and just had a minute of it before it went distant. Tried again the following morning but it was overcast and they didnt show in the time i had. A male i think.

At 12:11 a.m. tonight ET, the moon becomes full. Ironically, the sweetly-named ‘Honey Moon’ pairs with the supposed unlucky and sinister Friday the 13th.

I am so happy to see the bees foraging in our yard.

.Please view in large.

Couldn't quite get close enough and these bees don't sit still for long so a "quick" snap had to do this time. It's a heavy crop but still managed to pull out some detail. Single shot, hand held.

I'm out, will she love me?

I'm still seeing honey sweet

You shout don't you leave me

Don't you leave this incomplete

I wanna know if this road

Belongs to my eyes and only mine

Then I'd go back and show my love

A heart attack, I'm told I should have known

No more nights alone, so cold

Let's go back discreet, honey sweet

I'm out, I heard a heavy creek

Behind my window, honey sweet

There's no doubt you still love me

You'd still love this incomplete

I wanna know if this road

Belongs to my eyes and only mine

Then I'd go back and show my love

A heart attack, I'm told I should have known

No more nights alone, so cold

Let's go back discreet, honey sweet

🎧 Hear what I feel ► to play 🎧

You can have me, when you want me

You simply ask me to be there

And you're the only one, who makes me come running

Cause what you got, is far beyond compare

And it's just

Like

Honey

When your love comes over me

Oh baby I've got a dependency, always strung out

For another taste of your honey

It's like honey when it rushes over me

You know sugar never ever was so sweet

And I'm dying for you, crying for you

I adore you, one hit your love addicted me

And I'm strung out on you, darling don't you see

Every night and day, I can hardly wait

For another taste of honey

Honey I can't describe, how good it feels inside...
