Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.

A portrait of Homer Simpson. This is a leftover from a photoshoot from the summer.
I've been a fan of The Simpsons from The Ullman Era, and proudly can say that I own quite a collection of merchandise from the early days. And that's why, I'm so thrilled to see the Simpsons finally in LEGO form! They look absolutely beautiful in my opinion. So pardon me, taking a few photos of them time to time to fill my Something Else -album.
Known as the Nelly Thomas Home, it was built in about 1780, the oldest portion being a log structure. Board and batten was added in the mid-19th century. It was restored starting in 2001.

Limone, Lake Garda, Italy
Sod the photo, I've finally found a way to solve my problem of wonky images with sloping horizons and waterlines... shoot everything from a moving boat!
This image of presumable someone's home or holiday home (most jealous) is as taken - dead centre, dead level (oh alright... I've cropped it a little but it's still central and level). Captured on the way back from Riva del Garda via Limone to Malcesine, this house is just north of Limone.

Shot for Our Daily Challenge :”The Chicken and the Egg” (In fact there are five challenges in this one picture.)
This male Eastern Bluebird was enjoying the comforts of home ownership. Probably working on a survival plan for the cold winter to come.
Our next guests are coming from the other side of the world to see this view. I know it's special. Guests from all over, tell us how they discovered somewhere magical here: the peace, pure Peace, like no where else.
The music of one band, must be the banjo, more than any other fills my mind with Highland spirit - more than Ardnamurchan whisky www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJJHhDqt1Q8&list=RDEMMSwzJaud...
