"PhotoLovers" Hold me tight
I'm feeling further, feeling further from ya every day
You're in the stars, in the stars, yeah, you're worlds away
I'm moving on, moving on, then I hear you say
Hold on, hold on
We're losing light, losing light, yeah, we're fading fast
We had a fire, need a spark, or we'll never last
Just look at me, look at me,
I've been burning for you so long, so long
I should walk away
I look at you and
I get the feeling
I think that I should hold on, hold on
I look at you and
I get the feeling
I think that I should hold on, hold on
I'm losing love, losing you, losing everything
Losing faith in the world where I wanna be
So I don't care if the one thing that's killing me
Is so wrong, so wrong
I should walk away
I look at you and
I get the feeling
I think that I should hold on, hold on
These little honeybees were determined to hold tight to the sunflowers, as I had the shot set up outside. I thought about shooing them off, but realized that was symbolic of all the important things that we have been shooing off in nature. An action carried out on a large scale, that if not brought under control will have consequences more profound than we might think.
Please enjoy the honeybee details in Large
Thank you so much for your visit!
I'll be occupied for a bit.
Check out Lilly's amazing version of the picture here.

I am making the most of the poppies at the moment , here is another stand out in front poppy shot with the 100-400 which beautifully blew out the background.
Hold on to what is good,
Even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it's a long way from here.
Hold on to your life,
Even if it's easier to let go.
Hold on to my hand,
Even if someday I'll be gone away from you.
A Pueblo Indian Prayer
Take it in while you can
On the edge of it all
Feel the wind
Awake my skin
On the edge of it all
I feel it coming
Hold your breath, don't let go
Far away, something calls
On the edge of it all
Face the fire, let it come
On the edge of it all
Hold your breath, don't let go
I feel it coming
Cypress trees, extreme drought conditions. Bull Sink pond ... Withlacoochee State Forest, Citrus County, Fl
This small tortoiseshell was nectaring on verbena bonariensis, which is a tall, very thin plant with a bobble on top, the flower. Storm Francis was blowing hard in the garden and the flower was being tossed and bounced hard, especially during the strong gusts of wind, but the butterfly held on tight! It must have been like riding on a Roller Coaster!
Railing and wall. Tucson, Arizona. Noon-ish, as usual.
Slowly, slowly coming back to Flickr. And I'll slowly, slowly come back to your photos.
