...breakfast is one of my favorite meals..on week days it is most usually a quick and simple one...cereal & cold milk (during summer months), tea, maybe some cookies or a chocolate soufle that I have freshly baked.
In the glass jug, is my milk. It is always rice, soja or almond milk...that explains its beige or off white colour.
Update ( 02.03.10):
since November 2009, breakfast (even on weekdays)seems to have become a very important meal, including different kinds of fresh & toasted bread, sorts or cheese, ham, some fruit and often eggs....
Greek proverbs say that you can judge a good day from the early morning and one starting with a good, nutricious breakfast, set on a beautiful tablesetting ( which is to differ often, for eye stimulation and accordance to moods & the light depending on the weather conditions) has quite a lot of chances of actually turning out to be a good one.

....the ruffles of this very favorite t - shirt of mine, remind me of the "waves" of the roof in this picture here (seen at the comment section). I love this smoky grey both on the roofs and this cotton top!
Having returned from the trip to the Netherlands with a slight tan, the grey looks more alive :)
Casual outfit to go grocery shopping, caring one of my eco - friendly, reusable & washable bags. This one is from h&m Home - it "writes": 100% cotton on the one side & 0% plastic on the other.
Quite spacious and able to carry a lot of groceries :)

A pair of linen cushions for the leather sofa ( Arild from Ikea).

When simple, everyday aspects of life inspire decoration....coz what would we do without arithmetics...and can you imagine a world without geometry?....without shapes?....the world itself is nothing but geometry...nature is full of harmonious geometry...

....this adorable set of teatowels became more irresistible reduced to €1,95 from €7,95! Glad I ordered two sets ( eventhough I had already ordered 2 more sets when they first came out during last spring - the kitchen's owner, my mother just really loved them!), as they are already sold out.

Early morning passing through the Bullring towards Rotunda Square and New Street.
Using the escalators. Going up and around the curved path made me out of breath so didn't want to walk up St Martin's Walk.
H & M Home in the West Mall at the Bullring. Replaces the former Apple Store here.
Just a few items that I purchased this afternoon...
Today marked the first day we could purchase H&M Home items online or by catalogue. I bought a couple cushion covers, pillowcases, inner-pillows (they're goose down!), and a few kitchen items. I'm surprised that I didn't buy as much as I thought I would, but I have to confess that I'm planning on buying more February 26th when more items are released.
