Fishing for Happiness.... that's the book I've been reading... and enjoying it so much, that I stopped reading it because I didn't want to finish it because I didn't want it to end. (Yeah... I know, that makes absolutely no sense... except in MY world, where it makes perfect sense.) I will finish it, eventually. It's a good read and makes good sense, and I haven't started following the advise in the book to achieve happiness... but eventually, I'll try that too! For now.... my happiness comes from filling my car with props and heading out to one of my favorite places ... usually with no particular plan in mind... and just seeing what happens! Last night I ended up sitting in one of my props and enjoying a beautiful sunset. It wasn't a bad day...

i can’t get enough of sunrise light on dew-covered grass. there’s such magic and hope and happiness. early this morning, i walked to the park. as the birds sang, i watched the sun illuminate these little beads of water. there’s so much beauty in this world. my heart is happy and full.

... fresh Physalis in their husks. Both to eat and to photograph!
Physalis is characterised by the small orange fruit similar in size, shape and structure to a small tomato, but partly or fully enclosed in a large papery husk derived from the calyx.
The berry also goes by the names Golden Strawberry,Chinese Lantern and Cape gooseberry.
Not all Physalis species bear edible fruit. Select species are cultivated for their edible fruit, however; the typical Physalis fruit is similar to a firm tomato in texture, and like strawberries or pineapple in flavour, with a mild acidity.
Physalis fruit is a good source of vitamin C, beta-carotene, iron, calcium and trace amounts of B vitamins.
These fruits contain 18 kinds of amino acids.
These berries are also abundant in polysaccharides, compounds that may help fortify the immune system.
