I sigh over lost souls and smile over others.

At last, she's at sea, late, the sun is going, the mist and night coming... she's been escorted by smaller boats as salute.

I photograph her for as long as I can...

A male mountain bluebird crouches and spreads his wings in preparation for flying off the post. It gives a hop and a flap at the same time to get launched. It all happens so fast, the next frame in a high speed burst showed the bird well off the post.

While out walking with the family I had the perfect opportunity to photograph them. Here, Trinity and Karma's leashes are both tied together, and they did not budge from the spot they were placed in. Happiness is a family of Golden Retrievers !

Smile on Saturday - Happiness is...

For me, happiness is lots of sunshine. I think that I am at least partially solar powered. I am a lot happier and have more energy on a sunny day. This is a macro of a damaged solar panel illuminated with that powerful sunlight. :-)
